AIMS
Students will acquire comprehensive knowledge of handling patients before and after surgery, surgical complications and how to manage them, surgical instrument handling skills, behaviour in the operating theatre and solution to each of the diagnoses previously discussed.
COURSE CONTENT
The course comprises practical work on patients in the surgery or operating theatre. The types of work performed include: simple and complex tooth extractions, semi-retained and retained third molars, preprosthetic treatment, retained canines, mandibular tori, apicectomies, etc, always under the expert supervision of faculty teachers.
WHAT IT INCLUDES
- Travel between the airport and the Faculty on arrival and departure (Faculty of Stomatology of the University of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, Cuba)
- Basic surgery course.
WHAT IT DOES NOT INCLUDE
- Air travel and consumables required to perform the surgical operations.
