Students will acquire comprehensive knowledge on planning complex surgery operations, handling of surgical instruments, handling patients in the operating theatre, handling soft and hard tissue while performing complex surgery for the installation of implants.
The procedures performed include external and internal sinus lift; bone graft harvesting (ramus and/or chin block) for alveolar ridge widening by means of screwed grafts, or for filling maxillary sinus; expansion of narrow dental ledges for implant installation; and implant installation.
